Village Opolznevoe (Kikeniez), located on the southern coast of Crimea, a part of the village council Simeiz Yalta City Council. Opolznevoe is located above the main road Yalta - Sevastopol in the quiet mountain location. Nature

The area of the village Opolznevoe is a natural monument. The village is surrounded by picturesque nature of the landslide. Story

The name of the village, Opolznevoe due to the spectacular collapse of the landslide that occurred in this area in 1786. Above the Opolznevoe on the slope rises one of the "outcasts" of the Main Ridge Bink-Isar (734 m), composed of light gray marble-like limestone. At the top of the mountain located one of the Taurus shelters. In the era of the early Middle Ages as a place occupied by the strengthening of impressive size (Byzantine fortress). Hence the name given this beautiful landscape monument.
By Bink-ISAR are several trails through the mountain passes to jajlu Miesis Bogaz Sohah and Kopek Bogaz Sohah, wide aisles and accessible Pelakia and Eski-Bogaz. Clearly, the diversity of ways caused by the fact that where they started, back in the late XVIII century. village came Kikeneiz.
Village Opolznevoe became widely known because it was a stagecoach station for passengers. But before the construction of south coastal highway, until 1848, it began a path to the southern coast of the northern foothills of the Devil's staircase - the pass, which is located 9 miles west of the village.
In the Opolznevoe obelisk on the grave of 44 Soviet soldiers who died during the liberation of Crimea from the Nazis in the spring of 1944.
